We lift our hands in worship-Lamentations 3:41

Upraised hands show commitment to the Lord. And, unraised hands determine victory in intercession

We clap our hands -Psalms 47:1

The clapping of hands signify four things: (a)the declaration of victory and joy; (b)the expression of approval and affirmation; (c)the establishment of covenant or the sealing of an agreement, and finally, (d) the engaging of a powerful instrument of spiritual warfare.
