As I sit here at my computer this morning, I face the daunting task of computer literacy. My husband has mastered this “blogging”…I, however, am still working it out..

This is my second blog of the morning. My first one disappeared mid-writing! No…I had not yet saved it…I know, I know….save as you go…

Grrrr. Don’t you hate it when things just don’t work the first time? We are a generation of impatient people! The truth of the matter is that if I had done “due diligence” it would have worked! But much like everyone…I get in a hurry and it is my desire to speed through a task that often leads to a ‘less than desirable’ outcome.

I wonder how many of you today are rushing through your “to do” list. So many things have to be attended to in a 24 hour period. Do you ever feel like your life gets lost in the living??

Have you even looked out a window at the lovely sunshine? Did you take time to enjoy the aroma of that morning coffee you grabbed as you ran out your door? Did you allow the song in your soul to burst forth a praise to your creator? I want to encourage you today to slow down a bit. Take just a moment to live in this day. Breathe in the blessings of the Lord.. Be aware that this old earth is in the process of spring! New life is breaking forth all around us! Life is deliberately bursting out of the ground. You can miss it you know…you can miss the best things in life while busy with good things. You can rush through your day…only to realize the day is far spent! Unlike my first blog fiasco…real life doesn’t afford you a “do over”!!

THIS is the day the Lord has made!! Now it’s up to you…
